Extended Commercial License
The Extended Commercial License expands the rights of the Standard License to allow large-scale commercial use.
- Create and sell unlimited physical end products (e.g., merchandise, books, packaging, apparel, planners, printed stationery)
- Sell designs as Print on Demand (POD) products on platforms such as Amazon Merch, Redbubble, Zazzle, Etsy, and more
- Use designs for unlimited commercial projects, for yourself or your business
- Sell products worldwide and in perpetuity (license never expires)
Even with the ECL, you may not:
- Resell, share, or distribute the editable Canva file
- Create and sell editable templates based on Template Crate designs
- Claim authorship or ownership of the original template design
- Register the design as a trademark or copyright
• Issued in the name of the buyer or their company
• License is non-transferable and applies only to the buyer

The ECL is an upgrade to the Standard License. It gives businesses full commercial rights, including selling products through Print on Demand (POD) platforms and creating unlimited physical products.
Yes! A Standard License does not allow POD use. To upload and sell products on these platforms, you must have an Extended License.
No. Even with the ECL, you cannot resell, share, or distribute the editable Canva file. The license only covers finished end products.
The ECL must be purchased directly by contacting Template Crate Support. It will be issued in your name (or your company's name) with a signed agreement.
No. Once purchased, the ECL is valid worldwide, forever, and tied to you (the buyer). It cannot be transferred to someone else.
